Too many places 1.Century 21(ground zero )& Loehmann's (16th street 8th Ave ) Theysell discounted band names, you need to淘 really hard. For me, shopping there is both physically and mentally chanllenging,but you can find really good deals there. 2. Union square (14th street and 6th Ave ) . Thereis a building on the south side of the park, have 3 big stores, they open until very late ( something like 10 PM ), good place to do some night shopping. 3. 5th &6th Ave, from 14th to 22nd street. All kind of brands dotted this area, BR, VS, AT, CM, Express etc etc. Compared tomid town,it's less crowded and has more selection, and most likely better deals . 4. Soho ... all kind of boutique stores 5. check the sample sales if you can. Usually the Metropolitanbuilding on 18th street , bt 6 and 7 Avehosts all kinds of sample sales year round. Also check topbutton.com, they have sample sale info.To me, sample sale is what makes NY the fashion capital. 6. 5th Ave & Lexington Ave, park south area. Flagship store center. Usually you can find 50% or 30% off in Gucci, Prada,Ferregamo, etc etc ... also check the Saks store .... take a break in Columbus circle where you can find good coffee andfrench bakery, or under Rockfeller center where you can sip your drink and watch people ice-skating. Enjoy shopping !
