Gong Cha is a premium bubble tea franchise. The entiresystem has over 2000 bubble tea stores across the globe. In New York City along,we have over 13 stores across 5 boroughs. We are hiring for our Fulton CenterLocation. What you will be doing: Your major responsibilities will be kitchen, front desk,drink making, opening and closing, and other things which is needed for theoperation of the store. Your hours: Noon – 7 Monday to Friday, and/ or other hours. Our expectation: In one or two weeks, we expect you to be familiar withkitchen, drink making, front desk. In addition to the on-job training from yourcolleague, you could read the SOPs for the kitchen and drink making. And youwant to be able to assist on opening and closing. In another one week, we expect you to be able to conductopening and closing under supervision. In another one week or two, we expect you to be able toindependently conduct opening and closing. Requirements: Be able to speak/read/ write English Be able to speak/ read/ write Mandarin Chinese Good at customer service with a balance of professionalismand personality. Know how to say no to customer without offending customer. Good at handling pressure and working in fast-paceenvironment. This is definitely fast pace work environment. Be hardworking. Be able to get along with coworkers. Be nice to colleagues.We do not want drama among our colleagues. Be a team player. When your coworker falls, you are ready tocatch him or her, without airing out judgement. Be able to get things done. Be having thick face. Prior experience especially in bubble tea industry ispreferred, however not required if you think you could crack it.
