Home Care Compliance Officer
The Compliance Officer is responsible for implementing, maintaining and managing the company's compliance program ensuring that the company is compliant with the laws and regulations of MLTC, DOH, DOL, DCA and OMIG.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee, monitor and update the implementation and adherence of the company's compliance program;
• Implement written compliance policies, procedures and standards of conduct
• Maintain and distribute relevant compliance educational materials and regulatory compliance updates;
• Review established systems to ensure compliance with those policies, plans, procedures, laws and regulations which could have a significant impact on operations;
• Create and manage reports to ensure the company is compliant with all laws and regulations;
• Conduct periodic risk assessments and response plans;
• Conduct and manage internal monitoring and auditing;
• Report on a regular basis to the company's management on the progress of the implementation and operation of the compliance program and assist these components in establishing methods to improve efficiency, quality of services, and to reduce the vulnerability to fraud, abuse and offenses.
Requirements:
• Proficiency in applying compliance and audit standards, procedures and techniques
• Possess strong knowledge of the laws and regulations of MLTC, DOH, DOL, DCA and OMIG;
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Possess a strong professional attitude and can work with and communicate effectively with diverse parties;
• Bilingual in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
