HR Specialist
Responsibilities:
· Assistwith the hiring, onboarding and training sessions of all caregivers. Ensureonboarding processes are completed within established timeframes andguidelines.
· Performpre-employment background checks and verifications for new hires and schedulefingerprint appointment as necessary. Ensure employment screening requirements(references, department of health criminal history record checks, education andcertification/license documentation) are met.
· Ensurepersonnel files are filed and managed in compliance with employment policies aswell as federal, state and regulatory agency requirements.
· Ensurethat all caregiver data are timely migrated into HHAeXchange and well managed
· Dealwith telephone calls in a supportive and professional manner
· Otherduties as assigned
Requirements:
· Priorexperience in home care/health care and HHAeXchange preferred;
· Knowledgeof DOH regulations and minimum 1 year of HR coordinator experience preferred (freshgraduate with interest in HR will also be considered);
· Proficientin MS Word, Excel, Outlook;
· Fluentin both English and Chinese (Cantonese is a must);
· Excellentcommunication and coordination skills;
· Attentionto detail and ability to work both independently and in a team;
· Abilityto maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
