Reliance Star Payment Services, located in Great Neck, NY, is hiring atech-savvy, highly motivated technical support specialist to join our growingteam! This critical position requires someone who can assist customers with technical questions onuse and implementation of credit card terminals and POS systems ina timely and professional manner.
  
Bilingual and Multilingualcandidates are strongly encouraged to apply. We offermerchant services support and training in English, Korean, Vietnamese andChinese (Mandarin, Cantonese, Fuzhounese.)
  
Our Technical Support Specialist will: provide customers with courteouscustomer service / technical support, in person or over the phone; retainpresent customers and develop new business by extending professional andefficient service; and suggest additional services and products to servecustomers' needs.
  
More specifically:

  • Assist     customers with questions on credit card terminal installation, training,     usage, and implementation.
  • Respond     to and investigate customer inquiries, concerns, and issues via phone,     fax, mail, and e-mail in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Answer     questions and provide appropriate technical and/or product-related information.
  
Additionally, our Technical Support Specialist will be on "standby" after hours andweekends for escalated and/ or urgent technical support calls and must be ableto maintain flexibility to take care of urgent equipment or POS issues afterhours, weekends and public holidays by returning to the office or visitinglocal merchant locations.
  
Requirements:

  • Three     to five years related merchant services technical support experience.
  • Excellent     verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual skills a plus.
  • Strong     organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage     priorities and workflow.
  • Versatility,     flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing     priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Valid     Driver's License and reliable car.
